Philip Walsh qualified as a solicitor in 1994 and joined Clifford Johnston in 2005. He has been the firm’s managing partner for more than 10 years.
Philip has specialised in landlord and tenant work throughout his career and acts for both landlords and tenants. He handles all types of residential landlord and tenant work including possession cases, injunctions and committals and housing disrepair claims. Philip has run cases from the County Court to the Court of Appeal and has a broad base of landlord clients including many letting agents.
In addition Philip has considerable experience of all types of personal injury claims from straightforward whiplash claims to high-value serious injury cases.
For many years Philip has represented clients in unlawful detention claims against both the police and the Home Office and has secured substantial compensation for such clients.
